STEPS TO TAKE IN THE EVENT OF TRANSPORT DAMAGE
In the event of damage during transport (damaged packaging, missing product, etc.), you must imperatively :
- indicate the condition of the CONTENTS (e.g.: crushed, unusable goods), the NUMBER of damaged packages on the transport receipt at the time of delivery, refuse the package if necessary, **contact us within 24 hours so that we can take action by letter.
- contact us within 24 hours so that we can send a registered letter to the carrier within the 48 hours required by the transport code.
These conditions are necessary to protect your rights.
Good to know: Take photos, which may be useful in the event of a dispute.
The mention "sous réserve de déballage" (subject to unpacking) is useless: it is not valid in the carrier's code. Be very precise in your reservations about the condition of the goods.
